The right direction

WEIGH IN: Today I weighed in at 271.2 pounds, 5 pounds lighter than last week. However, I weighed in wearing my underwear, not all my clothes, and on my home scale, not a scale at a hotel. I started this journey at 282.9 pounds, so as of today I’ve lost 11.7 pounds.

EXERCISE: During my week in Portland my steps per day went from 620 a day to consistently over 3000 a day. Since I have been back I have wanted to get on my bike but things kept getting in the way, things like sleep, helping Mom and Angela, and attending the Tattered Writers small group.

DIET: Now that I’m home I can be more consistent with my diet. Although I did have ice cream for dessert twice this week. It’s hard to say no when Mom brings it over. I did pretty well today when I ate out at Maypole. But when I came home I let Mom cook salmon for me–and it was most tasty.

ACCOUNTABILITY: I have not been good at reading Food for Thought. I have been good about praying about my weight and my food.
