What do I need to change externally to change internally? I also feel more relaxed in the afternoons after I eat lunch. Plus I rise up earlier when my alarm goes off in order to ride Sally before breakfast. Eating healthier foods impacts how I feel within too, boosting my moods. So as I work to change my external appearance, my weight, I change how I feel internally. However loosing weight I feel internally, as I workout it impacts how I feel. I feel more energetic, more upbeat. My weight is something I am working to change externally, it’s material, impacting my appearance and first impressions.
EXERCISE: I got up in time to ride Sally before breakfast. I rode for 11 minutes, burning 159 kcal, and riding for 2.7 miles. I did two sprints and stood and petaled once.
DIET: I stayed on track with my diet mostly today. I followed it 100% for breakfast and lunch. For dinner I made eggplant nuggets tossed in a mixture of whole wheat bread crumbs, nutritional yeast, and Italian seasoning. I did toss the eggplant in olive oil to get the breadcrumb mixture to stick to the nuggets. I ate this with brown rice. While brown rice is permitted in my diet I think I ate too much of it and that my dinner was a bit carb-heavy. I am already hungry again. I think it will be a late night snack night tonight.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Y’all keep on keeping me honest! And just knowing I have to write about it here keeps me from straying too far off my diet and exercise goals.
