A day skipped

EXERCISE: Yesterday I rode Sally for 4.1 miles, burning 237.6 kcal, with a top speed of 32 mph, for a duration of 15 minutes. Today I rode Sally for 4.2 miles, burning 241.1 kcal, with a top speed of 23.9 mph and an average speed of 16.6 mph. Also a duration of 15 minutes. I didn’t blog yesterday but I still worked out.

DIET: Yesterday I ate breakfast on diet and dinner mostly on diet, with just a smidgen of olive oil on my sweet potatoes. Then I served snow cones for dessert, with homemade herbal syrups. This was sweet and most tasty, but I found I had to eat it slowly because the snow cone was so cold! Today I had more of the chili over brown rice, and thus more of the sweet potatoes with olive oil on them. I also had a green smoothie with dinner, and a glass of almond milk after dinner. However, no one wanted the snow cones tonight so I didn’t make them.

ACCOUNTABILITY: I am taking my sponsor’s suggestion to pray to my Higher Power for help with food and eating. In addition I am reading the daily reader Food for Thought from Hazleton. I like it, today’s reading was about how this isn’t a one and done thing, we are going to make mistakes and that’s how we learn. That helps ease some of the pressure I have been putting on myself around my diet and eating.
