I am realizing that food is a habit for me, a routine that I rarely skip. My body will let me know if I need to eat and I listen, more often than not. These days I’m eating 3 meals a day plus a snack. I know the snack is off diet but it helps me stay on diet foods if I don’t get too hungry between meals.
But exercise? Who needs that everyday? Who needs a habit of biking a minimum of 10 minutes a day? Why me–as it turns out. Exercise is the other basic building block for getting into shape, the other piece of the diet and exercise puzzle. And I have been letting it slide…Except for the swim, which I am using to rationalize not biking today, since I had that swim…
So for the rest of this week I am going to prioritize getting onto the bike for a work out. Ideally before breakfast. But if not then, then somewhere in my day. You, my readers, are my witnesses.
