Swimming Lake Tallulah

EXERCISE: I swam Lake Tallulah this morning with a friend who is an expert swimmer. As always I brought my handy-dandy waterproof camera and got some shots of me in my bathing suit by the waterfall. This isn’t quite peak weight, but it still will serve as a nice “Before” picture. I estimate that I burned about 700 kcal on this swim. Maybe more because that water was cold! After I dove in the coolness of the water felt really good on my face and neck. And it was beautiful to glide through the emerald green lake and see the waterfall and the pylons.

Me at 179 lbs, Week 2 of my Diet and Exercise Plan.

DIET: Breakfast I stayed on diet. Lunch I stayed on diet with a salad and a nectarine. Dinner I stayed on diet, making no-meat meat balls, marinara, over a bed of steamed cabbage. But my after swim snack I went off diet, eating the peanut butter which I have confirmed is definitely off diet, as it contains sugar. I did better after dinner and didn’t eat any peanut butter with my fruit dessert.

ACCOUNTABILITY: I told my swimmer friend about the blog and promised her pictures and the link to the blog. So I have another person in my network to be accountable to.
