DIET: I began eating on the Eat to Live diet May 29th, 2026. I began with a spinach and black bean quesadilla. Because it’s what I had, I had a white flour wrap, with sharp cheddar cheese and sour cream. I have eaten all those wraps and replaced them today with whole wheat and spinach wraps. I made Fuhrman’s avocado dressing and use that now in place of sour cream. These quesadillas have been a lifeline to cope with what Fuhrman calls “toxic hunger”. I am sure I have been prolonging my agony by not sticking strictly to the diet.
Other meals have included no-pasta lasagna, great for lots of leftovers, smoothies for breakfast, perfect for incorporating ground flax seed, and lots of yummy salads. I have made carrot and ginger juice and I’m planning to make Fuhrman’s Detox Green Tea tomorrow.
EXERCISE: I got on the bike for 11 minutes earlier this week and for 15 minutes today. I did a 30 minute yoga workout with Mom and Nell on Sunday. And I spent 2 hours installing Mom’s patio irrigation for her garden on Saturday, lots of kneeling to standing and back again there.
